What is Family Ministry?
“Family ministry” may be an unfamiliar term when it comes to programs geared toward kids & youth. At Vision, this title reflects:
Our commitment to partnering with parents in the spiritual nurture of their children.
Our acknowledgement that it’s impossible for the church alone to meet the spiritual needs of children.
Our philosophy of ministry to children & youth, those who serve in Family Ministry aren’t paid professionals, they are fellow parents, grandparents, neighbors, and church members who are passionate about showing young people what it is to know and follow Jesus.

Family Ministries Director
Vision Baptist Church has a nursery staffed and ready so you can drop off your baby or infant without any hassle. We provide childcare during all services and during Sunday morning LifeGroups.
Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each church service.
- Get your check-in labels in the Lobby
- Bring your child to the nursery staffed by friendly & verified nursery workers
- Enjoy the service!
- Bring your ID label and pick up your child
All nursery volunteers are required to pass a background check and complete ongoing training annually.
Kids of Vision consists of:
- Sunday School
- Sunday morning Kids’ Church
- Special Events throughout the year
- Thursday night AWANA Clubs during the school year
Every Thursday throughout the school year, AWANA Clubs introduce children to Jesus and start them on a lifelong relationship with Him. Clubs equip young people to know, love, and serve Jesus through fun, scripture-rich teaching and relationships with others. Our wonderful team of volunteers partner with you in the spiritual development of your child.

Our student ministry is committed to helping middle and high school students grow in their relationship with Jesus. Our student ministry provides students with:
- Sunday School classes
- Regular Events and activities
- A safe place to grow in character & in faith
- Committed volunteers who are willing to invest in them
